Steel & Aluminium Hulls are inspected for corrosion and fatigue. The quality of the welding is assessed. The residual plate thickness is measured using ultra sound equipment.

Wooden Hulls. The planking and internal timbers are inspected for rot, decay and worm attack. Plank fastenings are removed and inspected for corrosion whenever possible.
