The Surveyor
The yacht surveyor's job primarily is to report upon the condition of the vessel with particular attention being paid to the condition of the hull structure.
The Survey Report
The written report will list the defects found in the survey along with general recommendations for repair. The report may be used to negotiate the final purchase arrangements. Reports are normally dispatched within 7 days.

G.R.P. Hulls are inspected specifically for osmosis and distortion around bulkheads. Moisture Measurements are taken to ascertain if the gelcoat or laminate have absorbed water.
