Sea Trials

We can undertake sea trials. This is an important part of the pre-purchase process as it gives an opportunity to set the sails, test the engine under load and evaluate a yachts systems under working conditions.

Engine Inspections

The installation of the engine, fuel, cooling and exhaust systems is inspected. Cylinder compression can be tested. Oil samples can be taken and analysed. Engines are run-up to operating temperature and their emissions checked visually. A sea trial is often necessary to fully assess an engines condition.
